Wyndham Grande Resort

Description: Provided floodplain mapping, modeling and facilitate a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR). The project included the design and analysis of a proposed wave dissipating retaining wall that resulted in an AE flood zone rating over the proposed development site. By completing a CLOMR before construction, we helped save $500,000 in construction costs. Once the wall is constructed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) will formalize the flood zone change. The building’s owners will also experience a significant savings in the annual flood insurance costs.
